#18: Tne paternal one

Hello friends,

This weekend is Father's Day in the U.S. I'll be celebrating my sixth one. It always seems like it's only recognized because they (Hallmark?) don't want dads to feel left out since Mother's Day is a big deal.

While the "holiday" isn't all that special, the role and responsibility of fatherhood is significant. The part my dad has played in my life has been monumental.

As a reminder of how important dads are to myself and hopefully to you, I wrote an article about my father's place in my world.

I think you'll like it: Check out Sole to Soul.

Would love to hear any father's day stories you might have.

Until next time.

Honestly,

David

P.S. If you are a fan of North Carolina or seafood, my friend Andy and I made a cool NC Seafood Availability Poster that would look great hanging on your wall.

P.P.S. These days most websites look very similar in layout so they'll look good on most screen sizes. It's refreshing to see people push the envelope. The new Pharell website does this (on desktop).

P.P.P.S. We took the boys to see the new Jungle Book movie. It was excellent.

If you're digging Notes from the Field, consider forwarding to a friend or two. Thanks!
