Movie Lessons: Design & Thinking

I was pumped when my friend Rebecca invited me to a screening of Design & Thinking. The film was fantastic and inspired this week’s movie lesson. If you solve problems for a living (we all do), you owe it to your self to check out the movie as soon as possible.

If you can’t see the video, click here.

The movie lesson is this. Throw away your previous notions of who is a designer, and what it is and does. In its place, think of a designer as one who intentionally imagines and designs as a set of potential solutions to specific problems.

It is up to us then, to design our ideas, lives, and the people, things, and experiences in it.

What say you?

I write to friends when something’s worth sharing: insights on leadership, reflections on faith, thoughts on business, and the occasional golf story. Sign up and I’ll let you know when there’s something.

No spam, no sharing to third party. Only you and me.
