Modern marketing

2013 is going to be a good year for all of us. The election is over as are the holidays. It’s been fun and real but it’s time to seize the year. To kick things off I’m excited to announce the launch of a new company. It’s a modern marketing firm. Before I get into details, here’s a little back story.

A few years ago my friend Mitch Miles introduced me to a local web designer/marketer named Jeff SanGeorge. Jeff’s work was top-notch and he could do anything. He was like a digital marketing “jack of all trades”. Most importantly he was also a marketer so I knew he would approach design and development with regards to strategy. We started working together on a few projects. His web design and development shop, Connect Marketing & Design, implemented the strategies and tactics my firm, West Hall Media, developed. We found our skill sets complemented each other nicely and our beliefs on marketing and how it should work were very similar. Every time we collaborated, our  ideas come from two completely different perspectives. Our end goal or solution would seem to always line up though. This turned out to be a huge benefit for our clients because we solved their problems from multiple angles.

After about 18 months of this we decided combining forces would add exponential value to our current and future partners. Thus, Magnetic Ideas was born. Jeff tells the story of where the name came from on his post. You can read it here.

We’re a full-service digital marketing firm with a holistic an integrated approach. We are not an advertising agency, however. In fact, we’ve worked with some of the best in our area to help sell and execute digital initiatives. Our core disciplines are web, search, social and content. If you are interested in learning more, you can go here.

Enough about me. What is new in 2013 for you? I’d love to here about your new ventures, business and adventures.
